Ontario tabby cat missing for 11.5 years reunited with owner

An Ontario woman got a reunion at the beginning of 2022 that was more than a decade in the making when she received a call telling her that Loli, her cat which went missing in 2010, had been brought into Vaughan Animal Services. It was Loli’s microchip that helped identify her and lead animal services to contact Christine De Castro on New Year’s Day. De Castro’s unsure if Loli remembers her, but she’s happy to be reunited.
