Nova Scotia Liberals will choose a new leader for the second time in just under a year. Former premier Iain Rankin announced his resignation last week and joins ‘The West Block’ host Mercedes Stephenson to reflect on his time in office. Rankin talks about the “tough decisions” required to help steer Nova Scotia through the third wave of the pandemic that, while unpopular, he believes will have greater long-term benefit.
