U.S. Capitol riot: Biden says Trump refused to accept results of election, will of the people

Marking the one-year anniversary of the violent riot and protest at the U.S. Capitol building by mobs of supporters of former U.S. president Donald Trump, current President Joe Biden said on Thursday that Trump put his desire for power above the country's democracy as he watched the attack happen. "He has done what no president in American history, the history of this country, has ever, ever done. Refused to accept the results of an election and the will of the American people," said Biden.
