COVID-19: Quebec limits private gatherings to six people amid Omicron

Quebec Premier François Legault announced on Wednesday that as of Sunday, Dec. 26, the number of people in private gatherings will be reduced to 6, or two house bubbles, as the province is being hard hit by the Omicron variant. As of Sunday, Dec. 26, a capacity of 6 people at each table at restaurants will be implemented as well.
