The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit region could have its first case of the Omicron COVID-19 variant. A Northumberland County resident with COVID-19 is showing signs of the variant. In light of this and rising case counts, the health unit is ramping up vaccine clinics once again.
