The arrival of the Omicron COVID-19 variant in Nova Scotia has been directly linked to an end of year university celebration that saw thousands of people descend into the rural town of Antigonish at the beginning of the month. Now Nova Scotia is reporting triple digit case numbers. As Alexa MacLean reports, the top doctor says the surge in cases is a clear sign of how fast the new variant is spreading.
