Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore announced on Thursday that the province is expanding COVID-19 booster shot eligibility to residents aged 50 and older amid concerns over the Omicron variant. Eligible individuals can begin booking their 3rd vaccine dose appointments starting Monday, Dec. 13 at 8 a.m., Moore said.
