As the city prepares for another weekend of heavy downpour, Abbotsford, B.C. Mayor Henry Braun said he’s “worried” about water from Washington’s Nooksack River flowing into an already flooded local prairie. Abbotsford’s existing culverts and ditches along the border are already full of water, he explained in a Nov. 25, 2021 news conference.
