X-ray machine lets doctors check mid-surgery if they’ve removed all breast cancer cells

Thanks to an anonymous donation, the Misericordia Community Hospital has a high-definition imaging machine that lets surgeons check — in real time while still in the operating room — that they’ve successfully removed all cancerous cells from patients’ breasts. Su-Ling Goh reports.
