Indigenous-Crown Relations Minister Marc Miller spoke about compensation for Indigenous children, saying discussions need to happen with all groups involved in terms of tribunal rulings. That will determine what the floor and ceiling is for those who suffered the most harm. He said they then need to determine how that “parses out” including for those who wouldn’t necessarily be covered by the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal order.
