‘Rust’ movie set shooting: New Mexico Sheriff confirms Baldwin’s gun fired live lead bullet

Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed on Wednesday that actor Alec Baldwin fired a pistol loaded with a live lead bullet in the accidental fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the New Mexico set of the movie “Rust.” Mendoza told reporters it was too early to comment on charges, but that they will be filed if warranted.
