Conservative Party of Canada-backed Senate nominees Pam Davidson, Erika Barootes and Mykhailo Martyniouk received the most number of votes during Alberta’s municipal election last week. Premier Jason Kenney congratulated them and urged the federal government to pick from them when filling vacant Senate seats.
