Film ‘The Blactor’ examines negative representation of black people on screen

A film screening at Edmonton International Film Festival is looking at how black people are represented on screen and the real life consequences it has. ‘The Blactor’ is written and directed by Rukiya Bernard. She shares how her own experiences in the industry helped influence the film.
