Jacquelyn Kasulis, the acting U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, spoke Monday after R. Kelly was found guilty of racketeering in his sex trafficking trial. Kasulis said the verdict “forever brands” the singer “as a predator” and said he used his fame and fortune “to prey on the young, the vulnerable and the voiceless.” She also said the jury delivered a “powerful message to men like R. Kelly” that justice would find them “no matter how long it takes.”
