Convicted Quebec murderer makes last ditch appeal for early parole

Sebastien Simon, who pleaded guilty to the first-degree murder of a teenage gas station attendant in Montreal in 2006, is asking the court to grant him permission to seek early parole. As Global’s Elizabeth Zogalis reports the motion was presented under the now defunct “faint hope clause.”
