Canada election: Singh says Trudeau’s decision to trigger election was ‘selfish’

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh criticized Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau for triggering a snap election during the French-language debate on Wednesday, saying the decision was a “selfish” one. Singh said an election should not have been called while still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
