Wind may be cause for concern as forestry crews fight the Thomas Creek wildfire near Okanagan Falls
Description
July 22, 2021
It's a fire that's predominantly burning behind a ridge and not that visible--certainly not during the day. But the Thomas Creek wildfire is still deemed out of control--and The B.C. Wildfire Service says with wind in the forecast, it has the potential to grow even more. And that has the local Regional District urging residents who are on an alert to take it seriously. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
