Fire rips through College Street home in Peterborough

Flames ripped through a home on College Street near McDonnel Street in Peterborough late Thursday night.
Firefighters arriving on scene shortly after 11 p.m. were greeted by heavy smoke and open flame coming from the house.
While no injuries were reported it’s unclear if anyone was in the house when the blaze began. There’s no word yet on how the fire started.
