Edmonton principal Marie Whelan has always been driven by a deep sense of purpose, influencing generations of Alberta students and mentoring hundreds of educators. After leading her school through a pandemic, she’s now ready to send her students off into summer for the very last time. Carole Anne Devaney reports on her storied career and legacy.
