Officials say COVID-19 vaccine donations won’t affect Canada’s rollout

When asked if COVID-19 vaccine donations could affect Canada’s rollout, deputy chief public health officer Dr. Howard Njoo said on Friday that Canada is “well on track” to be able to offer both vaccine doses to eligible residents, while Joelle Paquette, director-general responsible for vaccine procurement at Public Services and Procurement Canada, added that “it will not impact” the goal of vaccinating all eligible Canadians by the end of September.
