Co-chair of the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Council Dr. Adalsteinn Brown on Thursday said variants of concern are a “wild card” as Ontario continues its efforts to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus, adding that if a variant were to enter Ontario the province “could lose control.”
