A northern B.C. Indigenous community is demanding the series “Jade Fever” be pulled off the air and all jade and gold placer mining operations be suspended in its territory. The Tahltan Nation says permits were issued without their consultation or consent and the mining operations glorified in the Discovery Channel series are damaging sensitive environmental areas.
