A much-anticipated coroner’s inquest into the death of Joyce Echaquan has begun in Trois-Rivières. The inquest is expected to take several weeks. Indigenous groups across the province say they hope it sparks much-needed change, in how they’re are treated. Global’s Amanda Jelowicki reports.
