Trial begins for TDSB teacher charged in drowning death of teen

The trial for a TDSB teacher charged with criminal negligence causing the death of his 15-year-old student has begun. The Crown alleges Nicholas Mills had a duty of care to protect Jeremiah Perry, who drowned on a canoe trip in 2017.
