Selwyn Township firefighters responded to a barn fire on Selwyn Road just north of Peterborough County Road 18 around 8:30 a.m. Monday. Peterborough County OPP blocked a section of the roadway while crews worked to fight the fire at a barn at Mann Farms. According to Selwyn Township Fire Prevention officer Andrew Bowyer, an interior attack method was used and the fire was knocked down. Crews remain on scene clearing hay and checking for hot spots. The fire is still under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
