China says its rocket debris falling back to Earth unlikely to cause any harm

Foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Friday that most debris from China’s Long March 5B rocket will be burned up on re-entry of Earth’s atmosphere and is highly unlikely to cause any harm, amid concerns it was falling “out of control” and could cause damage. “China is paying close attention to the final stage of the rocket’s re-entry,” he added.
