Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo councillors passed a motion Sunday to declare a state of local emergency in the Fort McMurray area, in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. As Lisa MacGregor explains on the noon news, it comes as outbreaks continue at many work camps in the region.
