Ontario independent MPP Randy Hillier and Maxime Bernier, leader of federal People’s Party Canada, were both ticketed for attending and inviting others to the latest anti-lockdown protest at Confederation Square in Peterborough on Saturday.

UPDATE: Late Saturday, Peterborough police said three tickets were laid under the Reopening Ontario Act relation to the protest. Five other tickets were laid in relation to the protest under other provincial offence acts.
Police say they will continue to investigate the information from the protest and further charges may be laid under the ROA.
