After 15 years as a provincial politician, Lands and Forestry Minister Chuck Porter confirms he won’t reoffer in the next provincial election. The Hants West MLA was first elected as a Tory in 2006 and crossed the floor in 2016. As Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, he’s the ninth Liberal MLA to announce they’ll be stepping away from Province House at the end of the current mandate.
