No injuries were reported following a fire at a rental cottage north of Peterborough on Saturday.
Around 8 a.m. Douro-Dummer and Selwyn Township firefighters responded to a fire at Lake Edge Cottages on Lake Edge Road in Douro-Dummer.
Douro-Dummer fire chief Chuck Pedersen says the fire is believed to have started in the area of the bathroom, but due to the extensive damage and being structurally unsafe, a thorough investigation of the area of origin was not possible and the cause is undetermined.
