Dozens of protesters blocked access to Province House and Hollis Street on Tuesday, urging elected officials to place a moratorium on Crown land clearcutting. As Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, one of the rally’s organizers is on the ninth day of a hunger strike, and plans to continue until hospitalization if the government doesn’t act quickly to protect trees and moose habitat.
