BC Coroner Service reports surge in drug deaths amid COVID-19 pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic is having a devastating impact on people using drugs in our province. The B.C. coroner says 2020 was the province’s worst year for drug deaths on record — with nearly five people dying of an overdose each day. Nadia Stewart reports.
