Coronavirus: Boris Johnson says U.K. confident in vaccine contracts, supply when asked about Astrozeneca-EU dispute

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson side-stepped commenting on the dispute between COVID-19 vaccine-maker Astrozeneca and the European Union Wednesday, saying he was confident in the U.K.’s contracts and its supply. The European Union’s dispute with AstraZeneca intensified Wednesday, with the Anglo-Swedish drugmaker denying the EU’s assertion that it had pulled out of talks on vaccine supplies. Johnson did add the U.K. is a believer that the creation of vaccines is due to strong international partnerships.
