Public Safety Minister Bill Blair on Friday explained the government’s decision to halt the sales of RCMP cruisers, after a gunman ramped last year through Nova Scotia in a mock-up RCMP cruiser, killing 22 people. Blair said there is an emerging trend in which suspects are modifying vehicles to look like police vehicles.
