U.S. economic advisor explains executive order on addressing food insecurity domestically

White House economic advisor Brian Deese on Friday outlined details on an executive order President Joe Biden will sign regarding the “growing crisis” of food insecurity in the country, including the president asking the Department of Agriculture to consider taking “immediate steps” to provide nutrition assistance to hard-hit families.
