Inauguration day: Spectacular fireworks display lights up the night sky in Washington

A mammoth display of fireworks ended the 59th inauguration of the President of the United States. President Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden watched the fireworks from the Blue Room second-floor balcony overlooking the Ellipse and National Mall.
