When asked if he would give Ontarians more paid sick days after the Toronto Board of Health recommended it, Ontario Premier Doug Ford on Monday said there’s “no reason” for the province to “jump in.” Ford added that only $270 million out of $1.1 billion from Canada’s safe re-start program has been used, and the province is having discussions with the federal government to perhaps change the program.
