Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin, who will serve as lead impeachment manager, on Wednesday during debate on the charge against President Donald Trump said that while those who breached the Capitol may have been searching for Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence, “the mob could have blown the building up.” Raskin may have been referring to the discovery of multiple pipe bombs and explosive, both at the Captiol and around Washington. He called on Republicans to vote for impeachment and called Trump not speaking up during the riot was a “betrayal.”
