Dr. Adalsteinn Brown, co-chair of the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table presented new COVID-19 modelling Monday, which he said showed that deaths due to COVID-19 will continue to increase. “If case rates continue we will look at a most likely estimate of about 50 deaths a day by the middle of February,” he said.
