Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry Navdeep Bains announced on Wednesday that Canada has signed the “gateway treaty” with NASA to build a new outpost that will orbit the moon, and will use robots operating by artificial intelligence techniques to maintain space operations when astronauts are not present.
