Defence minister confirms Canada stopped training Chinese military amid media reports

Defense Minister Harjit Sajjan said during Thursday’s Question Period that the government doesn’t train Chinese military personnel on Canadian soil anymore after media reports released show that Canada proceeded with a training program against the chief of the defence staff’s recommendations, as well as “Five Eyes” security concerns.
