Peterborough sledge hockey community remembering Brett LeBlanc

On Monday, the search for Trent University student Brett LeBlanc came to a tragic end.

The body of the 24-year-old Cobourg native was found in the Otonabee River. The investigation has since been turned over to the coroner’s office.

LeBlanc was legally blind, but that didn’t stop him from enjoying and playing sports.

He was very involved with the sledge hockey community. A former teammate is remembering LeBlanc for his passion and commitment to the game.
