Coronavirus: Trudeau says lack of domestic vaccine production the reason for wait

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday spoke about the potential wait for a COVID-19 vaccine when some countries are announcing a possible rollout of their vaccination plans in December, saying Canada does not have domestic vaccine production capacity but are working to build this up so they’re not cut short again. He added they signed a record number of deals with potential vaccine producers in order to make sure people get the vaccines as quickly and effectively as possible.
