Coronavirus: Ontario finance minister discusses funding for businesses amid Toronto, Peel lockdown

Ontario Finance Minister Rod Phillips discussed on Friday the $600 million in funding to support employers affected by the COVID-19 lockdown in Toronto and Peel Region, saying the funds would help cover fixed costs associated with energy and property tax bills. Phillips said applications open Monday for businesses in regions “already designated as modified Stage Two or the red control zone.”
