A nine-month-old bear cub, whose mother is believed to have been killed by a car, is now recovering and eating pumpkins after being apprehended trying to cross the Canadian-U.S. border. The bear is now recovering at the Northern Lights Wildlife Society in Smithers and will be released back into the wild next spring.
