Tabling the province’s first budget since the start of the global coronavirus pandemic, Ontario Finance Minister Rod Phillips said the province’s budget is projected to be $38.5 billion, in line with earlier projections this summer. He said the deficit is projected to decrease to $33.1 billion next year and $28.2 billion the year after.
