The downtown core has faced some unique challenges during the past few months. Not only have it’s small businesses had to pivot and address a new way of moving forward, but many of its residents who work in the service industry have faced erratic employment-and in some cases unemployment. Town ward councillor Dean Pappas stopped by Global News Peterborough to explain.
