Edmonton mayor announces new housing facility to replace homeless camps over the winter

Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson announced the city will use $8 million provincial and federal government one-time relief funds to operate a 24/7 housing facility from the end of October until March 2021, intended to replace homeless camps that have appeared around the city this summer.
