Coronavirus: WHO reacts to CDC’s advice on COVID-19 transmission posted by mistake

Dr. Mike Ryan, executive director of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) emergencies program said on Monday that WHO’s position on COVID-19 transmission hasn’t changed based on their evidence after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) posted advice that the virus spreads through air and travels beyond six feet. Later during the briefing, Dr. Ryan noted that the draft advice was taken down by the CDC, and that WHO will follow up with them.
