Doctor pushes for mandatory testing in long-term care homes

A local long-term care physician is raising new concerns during the pandemic — saying that testing for COVID-19 should be mandatory for all staff working in nursing homes.
The province recommends staff need to be tested every two weeks, but it’s not mandatory. Jennifer Basa reports.
